Boylan Bottling Co

New York City, NY

Boylan Bottling’s story starts in 1891, when a pharmacist named William Boylan created an elixir in his Paterson, New Jersey, apothecary. He named that serum, a derivative of birch trees, Boylan’s Birch, and began selling individual cups from a barrel in the back of a wagon.  Boylan today is best known for its full line of hand-crafted sodas, ranging from core four Ginger Ale, Root Beer, Black Cherry and Creme sodas, to other popular flavors, including Cane Cola, Orange and Grape.

Bud Light

Bud Light was introduced in the U.S. in 1982. Its superior drinkability
and refreshing flavor have made it the world’s best-selling light beer.

Budweiser

Known as “The King of Beers”, Budweiser was first introduced by Adolphus Busch in 1876
and is brewed with the same high quality standards today. Budweiser is a medium-bodied,
flavorful, crisp American-style lager, craft brewed with a blend of premium hop
varieties, and associated with the core American values of celebration and optimism.

Busch Beer

Busch offers a refreshingly smooth taste. Since being introduced regionally in 1955, the Busch beer
brand family has grown to become one of the top-selling value beer brand families. Busch also holds
a noted place in Anheuser-Busch history as the first new brand after the repeal of Prohibition.

Calypso

The original, and now famous, Calypso Lemonade recipe was created in 1985 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin,
by the owner of the King Juice Company. The idea was simple – make an authentic, delicious lemonade
made with real lemons and real sugar. Today, Calypso Lemonade has evolved into eleven unique Lemonade
combinations, five Limeades and four Teamonades – all of which are based on the Original Lemonade recipe.
Each Calypso flavor is produced with a focus on quality – using real fruit, real sugar and natural flavors.

Carlsberg beer

Copenhagen, Denmark

The establishment of the Carlsberg Laboratory in 1875 marked Carlsberg as the world’s first
large industrial enterprise to invest heavily in research and innovation. Even more revolutionary,
anything discovered at the lab was freely shared with the whole brewing industry. The same applied
to yeast, which was distributed from the yeast tower at Carlsberg up until 1988. As JC used to say,
there’s nothing to fear from your competitors when you brew probably the best beer in the world.

Carolina Brewery

Chapel Hill/Pittsboro, NC

In 1995, owner Robert Poitras opened Carolina Brewery’s doors on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill. A
third generation UNC alumnus raised in eastern North Carolina, Poitras’ interest in craft beer began
while still in college when he traveled to Europe and became enamored with the local customs and flavors.
Upon returning home to North Carolina and graduating with honors from UNC Chapel Hill, Poitras searched
for a brew master. He found Jon Connolly at the world famous Siebel Institute and together the two men
have built Carolina Brewery. Their award winning, handcrafted beers have gained national recognition
with medals from the nation’s premier beer competitions like the Great American Beer Festival (GABF)
and World Beer Championships. Recent GABF medals include Bronze Medals for their Oatmeal Porter and
Sky Blue Golden Ale in 2013 and 2012, respectively, and a Gold Medal in 2006 for their Flagship IPA.
